Honor a loved one!
If you have lost a loved one to a specific disease, such as diabetes or cancer, consider a wedding favor charity donation to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.

Consider a local donation!
There are many needs right in your own community. With a little research, you will be able to find a cause to support. Check with your local schools to inquire about a donation of books or school supplies for needy children.

Buy products that support a specific charity!
The plantable pink ribbon favor cards, the pink ribbon favor boxes and "In favor of a cure" glass place card frames are just a few examples. When you purchase these items, a portion of the proceeds help fund breast cancer research.

Unique Wedding Favor Idea

A customized card will let your guests know of your donation decision.
You may use wedding favor phrases such as:

"Thank you for sharing our special day with us. In your honor, we have made a donation to (charity)."

"In lieu of favors, the bride and groom have made a charity donation to (charity) in your name."

But, don't tell all your secrets! The wedding favor saying card should not mention the actual amount of your donation.
