Wedding Christmas Favors

Choosing wedding Christmas favors can be easy, fun, and overwhelming all wrapped up in one bright package!

If you are having a winter wedding you know your options are endless when it comes to picking the perfect winter-themed wedding favor.

To keep it simple and tasteful you may wish to go with edible favors. The holiday season is the perfect time to give gifts such as chocolates, cookies, or beverages like personalized tea or cocoa packs. Following are some do-it-yourself holiday wedding favors that will get your ideas snow-balling.

A Sweet Mix

For a simple, practical favor get a bunch of wire whisks at Target or Wal-Mart, you may even find them at a dollar store. Stuff the head of each whisk with a mix of holiday foil wrapped Hershey’s Kisses.

Get some white or gold tulle which you can find in most craft stores and sewing departments of large retail stores.

You’ll want to cut a large enough square piece of tulle to wrap around the head of the whisk and tie at the bottom with some personalized ribbon. You can attach a note with your message… to add a bit of humor and wedding holiday cheer you can say: “Whisking you a Marry-ied Kissmas” or “We Whisk you a Marry Kissmas.”

The Perfect Blend

Fill small mugs with personalized tea or cocoa packs and wrap small packages of Christmas cookies to go with it. When your guests slowly sip their tea they will close their eyes and feel the warm memories of your wedding day.

Another great idea is to make up a large batch of dry cookie mix with everything but the butter, eggs, and milk. Fill small canning jars with the mix.

Cut out some circles from festive material with a plain or fancy scissor blade and tie them over the jar lids with ribbon. Attach instructions on finishing the cookies. You can either buy or make up personalized tags or stickers to put on the front of the jars.

This idea can also be done as a dry soup mix where everything is added but the water. These are wonderful gifts to receive and make the perfect wedding Christmas favors!

If you decide to purchase your wedding favors from a wedding favor company rather than making your own it would be wise to start looking in the late summer that way you can take advantage of their great holiday sales.
